Organizing Shipping

Hello,
Since the beginning of the year, I’ve been focused on fulfilling my last two Kickstarter projects. To avoid mistakes, I built a clear packing + tracking workflow, with each parcel checked and logged before it goes out. The current slowdown isn’t on my side. Four parcels were lost in transit, and I’m already following each case with customer service so the packages can be located or replaced as quickly as possible. On top of that, the main issue right now is the studio pickup. I have ten parcels ready, but the driver assigned to collect them simply doesn’t come. The reason given by the carrier is that my studio isn’t directly on the street, so from the driver’s point of view “no one is there”. In practice, it just means he doesn’t enter the building. This is frustrating because I’ve been very clear from the start: he must call me when he arrives, and I come down immediately to open and help. My phone number and access instructions are already registered on my account, yet the information doesn’t seem to reach the driver. I’ve contacted customer service repeatedly. Each time, they tell me they will “notify the agency”, but the situation hasn’t changed yet, so I’m pushing to get a direct confirmation from the local depot that the pickup instructions are actually applied. For smaller parcels, I’ve sometimes carried the boxes to the depot myself to keep things moving. For heavier cartons (around 8–10 kg, like the Idols), this becomes much harder, and pickup is the only realistic option, especially since it’s included in the shipping price.
Space is also a hard constraint : I can only store eight large cartons at once because the studio also contains the parcels for Props of Nyarlathotep. Once those eight are packed, I’m blocked by a wall of boxes and can’t work properly anymore. That’s why solving this pickup issue matters so much: it’s the difference between shipping in steady waves and being forced to stop and wait, or rent a van to do the transport myself, which I would really prefer to avoid given my current finances.
Next week I’m running a workshop week with kids (we start a new worldbuilding project). I’ll resume shipping right after, on March 8th. My goal is to have the pickup situation fully sorted by then, so I can move forward smoothly with the next dispatches.

PS: This is how I pack the idols. The foam is super dense and of very high quality although it is not very aesthetic, it is solid. The wings of the idol are completely encompassed by the foam which ensures their safety.
