Dear backers,
First and foremost, allow me to express my deepest gratitude for your patience and unwavering support over these nearly seven years. Your trust is invaluable, and I want to assure you that we are now on the brink of the stage we have all been eagerly awaiting: the long-anticipated completion.
As I mentioned to Nicholas in the comments, I am currently conducting the final tests of the sound device. This is important to ensure that the experience you will have with the soundtracks meets your expectations, and also to enable me to draft a detailed technical sheet. This sheet will guide you in the optimal use of the speaker, thus ensuring a total immersion in the sound universe we have created together. I'll be able to send the Idol after this last part.
Furthermore, I am delighted to announce that my financial needs for the first part of the year seem to be on the path to resolution. I am awaiting final confirmation next week, but the favorable signs I received two days ago allow me to hope and breathe a little, a lot!..and, of course, money means I'll be able to buy time for Denys to make the final corrections to the scenario and send it to Chaosium.
As a celebration of this festive season and to thank you once again, I am pleased to offer you a digital greeting card. I hope it pleases you and brings a bit of this season's magic. Please note that the original oil painting is available for sale on my online store at delphes-sanctuary.com.
I wish you all a very happy holiday season, surrounded by your loved ones. May this time be a moment of joy, peace, and celebration.
With all my gratitude and best wishes,
Delphes
Feedback Beta testers

We look forward to seeing you in top form. Here's some news on the project: the beta testers have answered our call and given us enthusiastic feedback on the project as a whole. There was some useful feedback, mostly about typos in the scenario or spelling mistakes that the author missed. They all appreciated the general layout and the artistic quality of my illustrations. One backer raised a question suggesting checking the ambiguity of a character's appearance to avoid confusion of interpretation. Another suggested brightening up certain pages to improve legibility.
The quality of the HPLHS audios was obviously underlined, as was the role of sculpture in the story, which is very gratifying for us, as it was the idea of creating a device combining object, sound and narrative that was at the origin of this project.
Denys is currently making corrections and working on the book cover. And once the pregens in pdf is over we'll then send everything to Chaosium for validation.
Best,
Delphes

Dear Backers,
The 4th of July, we sent out beta versions to eleven backers to gather constructive feedback. We are grateful to the four backers who have already reverted with their invaluable insights, detailed suggestions, and comments.
For those who haven't had a chance to share their thoughts, we understand – life gets busy, especially in summer with family vacations. We're extending our feedback window until first week of September. Feel free to dive in and share your observations when you can until then.
A piece of early feedback we're excited to share is that everybody seem quite pleased with the layout. Rest assured we'll provide a comprehensive update detailing the feedbacks and the resultant steps we plan to undertake.
Thank you once again for being an integral part of this project. Your engagement is helping us to finish shaping the future of our RPG scenario!
Warm regards,
Delphes

Hi everyone,
We hope this message finds you in great spirits. We have some thrilling news to share with you regarding the progress of our project. The PDF is now ready to be sent to Chaosium! However, before we proceed, we have a special request to ask for ten of you.
We value your support and your long patience to our project, which is why we want to offer you the opportunity to participate to correct the beta version of the PDF. By receiving your valuable feedback, we aim to make any necessary final adjustments before submitting it to Chaosium.
We believe that your insights and suggestions can contribute significantly to a "control-quality" of the scenario, ensuring the best possible outcome for everyone involved. Your participation in this beta testing phase would be immensely appreciated, and your input could play a vital role in enhancing the final product.
In addition to the PDF, we would like to inform you that there is one more crucial aspect that remains to be completed—the layout of the pre-generated character sheets. We are currently working on the design and development of these character sheets to provide you with a seamless and immersive gaming experience.
If you're interested in joining this select group of beta testers and providing feedback on the PDF, please let us know as soon as possible by commenting to this update or sending a private message. We will then provide you with the necessary instructions and a secure link to access the beta version.
Thank you for your unwavering support throughout this austere journey. We are immensely grateful for each and every one of you ! We totally understand your frustration but rest assured, we are committed to making the project an exceptionally serious endeavor.
Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or require further information about this proposal.
Warm regards,
Delphes

I apologize for the delay in providing you with updates; I have been incredibly busy. I am currently juggling three jobs and fighting to maintain my status as an artist despite the attacks of expenses and the weight of inflation. I can't tell you enough how sorry I am to be significantly behind schedule, due to the technical obstacles I have previously discussed at length here and obvious errors in estimating working time that this ambitious project represented. There's still some work to do for Denys: the book cover and the NPC cards. However, it represents a solid month of work. I'm trying to find a graphist to make the ready to play cards, It will allow us all to save time and money.
In the consequences of the COVID crisis and the French news that you have undoubtedly heard about, it's become increasingly complicated for us given the inflation and budget cuts that limit hiring, which used to be more spontaneous. That's why I'm doing my best to find additional income through my work to finance the completion of the project (for example, the sale of my Portrait du Louvre and others pantings to come). In France, it's becoming more difficult for those in precarious situations to survive, but we are fortunate to have creative resources that allow us to catch our breath in this frantic race and keep our heads above water.
I will be working part-time at my city's museum starting in late May/June this year, which will help me bring in some income and finance the completion of this sprawling project. Rest assured that I am fully committed to seeing this project through to the end and delivering the best possible results for all of you who have supported me. Thank you for your understanding and patience during these challenging times.
For those who have not yet seen it, here is "Le portrait du Louvre", the painting I put on sale as well as its arts prints which will be featured at Chaosium Con next week in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
I hope you are all in excellent shape.
Best regards,
Delphes
