Cthulhu in the sun
about 7 years ago – Thu, Jul 04, 2019 at 09:24:25 AM

Hi everyone,

First let me tell you that I thought I answered to Brian's comment last week but somehow it never shows up on the page. It happens sometimes when I write on my phone. I should have checked, but I was working in my studio when I answered and I got back quickly to my work without delay. Sorry Brian if you thought I wasn't caring to get back to you.

I'm sharing your concerns and believe me I don't like to be so late. The person who's printing the idols of Cthulhu is slower than he had announced at the beginning. He's kind of an obsessional so I trust him to make a very good job, but the down side is that he takes his time. I turned the heat up and told him to move on !

Here are some Cthulhu Idols sunbathing to get dry.

Denys is working on the scenario & handouts graphic design. He's always working with care to make it happened.
He promised to send me ASAP some NPCS cards. I'll share them with you immediately after i received them.

I know how uncool it could be to wait longer than what you excepted to get your reward. I wish I could do faster and better. This big project have challenged my capacities to co-ordinate all the people who partners with me, and it's a learning curve. After all, i'm just a contemporary solo artist with big dreams ;)

My main goal is to make objets or displays that enhance the narrative experience, but quality needs time. I will never send you some bad products to keep my schedule safe. But i'm really sorry another time to ask you to wait that long.

Warm regards,

Delphes

Hi everyone,

I'm back to the studio since a couple of weeks after an exhausting speed moving.

I delegated the castings of the Idol to V-O, my friend who knows the plaster like anyone else as he was a master of staff and stucco for 30 years. Then I'll paint the 55 Idols.  I 'll apply the colours on the 55 Cthulhus, lightings, shadows and textures, and sculpt the shapes step by step while revelling in the sight of the sculpture emerging to life under my gaze.

I'm ready for the nightmares.

Denys is now scanning all the drawings I have made to start the graphical layout of the scenario.

We make progress !

Take care,

NPCs and..

Hello!

Here is three more NPCs: Peter Jacobs Clarence Rollins Frederick Wyman

More will come.

I’ll be very busy until the end of the month because I’m moving. We had a nice opportunity to increase our living space after a long wait. Also there will be a working space there. Therefore I’ll have two studios ! one huge for graphic design and painting, one smaller but very practical for sculpting. It is totally luxurious!

Those working conditions will be the best to keep the good work.

But moving is always stressful! I’ll do everything to make this moving shorter as possible and go back to work ASAP to make great products and get them to you.

Thank you in advance for your patience and the longer wait.

You have a wonderful day!

Hello!

Sorry I’ve been a bit sick the last week but I’m going well now! I drew all the NPCs and almost finished the investigators.

I sent the first draft to Matt; he said that he loves the artwork:) I hope you’ll share his taste.

First it was a pink-and-pen style but it became more Pulp after a while. I think it works perfectly for that kind of campaign.

I’m enjoying so much creating the art parts of the scenario! More I’m drawing more I want to draw.

Other will come in the next days.

Let me introduce the famous Inspector Legrasse and a new character, Vale Danell.

You have a great weekend !
